Three of my five boxes arrived. The two intimates and an accessories box.
All the boxes look like this when opened. You see your name on the inside flap of the box. The actual box you see a strip of paper with a greeting and on the other side of the strip is a quote. After that there is usually a foam pad for accessories and makeup boxes to keep everything fitted so that the pieces don’t move around in the box.
This is my mom’s box and it’s the perfect sleepwear/loungewear outfit! The box is worth $36 The St. Eve long sleep shirt according to the paper is $32. It feels over priced for something like this. The low-to-mid $20 seems more reasonable and what I usually see in store, or even maybe $14.99. The shirt feels like a good quality though. The socks are by Cynthia Rowley and it comes with three pairs. I like her line of makeup so it’s fun to see other stuff from her. The socks retail for $18 and it’s a price I see in stores so nothing too extreme. The two pack of soft bras retail for $26, again a reasonable price. The seamless boyshorts undies retail for $8. It’s a bit more than what I usually see for only one pair, I usually see maybe around $5 or $3 if you look hard enough.
This was my mine and it was another good box. One item is missing and that is because once my mom saw it when I opened it she took it and put it on right away. It is a really cute all over lace camisole. The lace was black and there was a nude underlining so it gave it a more flirty look to the top. My mom ended up giving me her pair of boyshorts for the cami. The lace cami retails for $39.90. I am not sure if I’d ever pay that much for a cami. It is a really good quality and has a molded cup. I can maybe see it in the low-to-mid $30 for the top. The other item is a twisted racerback tank top with the text ‘snooze’ on it. It retails for $24, and it’s a price I see for sleepwear if not a bit cheaper. The gray shorts, is a slim and thin shapwear and that retails for $15. That’s a reasonable price for a shapewear, and possibly on the lower end of the price range. The last item is the red and black strip boyshorts and that is the same as the one my mom had gotten.
Again, the price of all the items are over $36 and it’s stuff that I would buy. All of these intimates are coming just in time now with the hot weather rolling in.
Now onto the itimates!
I am dissappointed by the accessories. The scarf is a gorgeous light mint colored infinity style. The other two I am dissapointed in. I had checked sunglasses and silver tone as my dislike, but yet I still got them. I want to chalk it up to it being an end of the month box so they might not have a lot of stuff in stock anymore or because the box was a discount. The necklace is nice enough but I just don’t normally if ever wear silver. I’ll give it a try and maybe I’ll just end up loving it. The summary for the necklace: “The Elsa Necklace is long, silvery strand of chain accented with silver tone baubles. Style Tip: This is perfect way to add serious style to an office outfit.” The necklaces I can work with but the sunglasses I cannot. I wear perscription glasses and I also wear perscription sunglasses so these are useless, plus they are also too small for my head even if I wanted to try out the sunglasses.
Now I am just waiting for my two makeup boxes!
So keep in mind that I had actually bought this when they were having a sale of first boxes for only $1! After this experience I would probably do the intimates subscription and forgo the the accessories box.
